The most common kind of polypropylene tape that we use for custom logos and designs is the one that uses hot melt adhesives. This usually meets the needs for around 90% of our customers and has a wide range of temperatures that it holds very well in, from as cold as around 30 degrees Fahrenheit to as warm as 140 degrees. For most clients, these extremes are far outside of their normal temperatures that they deal with, so this kind of custom polypropylene tape works extremely well.
There are other clients that require a custom polypropylene tape that has a working temperature range that is far lower than the hot melt adhesive variety. For those clients we offer a hi-tack version of custom polypropylene tape that has a service floor of -15 degrees Fahrenheit up to a maximum of 100 degrees. We also feature an acrylic polypropylene tape that offers a wider range of service temperatures than the hot melt variety.
