What Size is Custom Packaging Tape?
Our custom packaging tape comes in either 2-inch wide or 3-inch wide varieties. The length of each roll will depend on the kind of tape that you need, but could be as short as 55 yards and long as 1,000 yards for our polypropylene tape.
What is The Difference Between PVC and Polypropylene Tape?
Polypropylene tape and PVC tape might look similar, but they are made differently and have different properties that make them appropriate for different situations. PVC tape is a more heavy-duty style tape that is good to use with heavier shipments. PVC tape also features a more flat finish when compared to polypropylene.
Polypropylene tape is much more popular and less expensive to manufacture, so it is a cheaper and more readily available packing tape. This is good for lighter shipments and has a more shiny finish when compared to PVC. It is less elastic than PVC tape as well.
What is Kraft Tape?
Kraft tape is a paper tape that features very good strength, which is why it is used often for heavier shipments, especially when the recipients are commercial or industrial customers. Kraft tape is a water-activated tape and provides a very strong seal on a variety of cardboard and corrugated packages. Kraft tape is also tamper-evident because it does not come off easily and when removed makes it obvious that tampering has happened.
